Returns & Exchanges

Return Policy

Sweden and Europe (within the EU):

- You always have 14 days of open purchase with us when you shop.

- The goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt of delivery. That is, be submitted to a post office.

- Bikinis and bathing suits and accessories such as necklaces and earrings are not approved for hygienic reasons.

- No refunds on sale items.

- Open purchase does not apply to made-to-measure goods or goods that are sewn up completely according to your wishes

- The Born In Stockholm tag must remain in place for an approved return

- The goods are unused and in original condition

- No makeup marks.

- No perfume scent or sweat smell. If there is a strong smell, the return is NOT accepted. Please try on the clothes with good hygiene.

- For Europe, countries within the EU apply, for countries outside the EU other rules for returns apply.

USA and the rest of the world:

- For countries outside the EU, we offer a 14-day right of exchange or store credit for an approved return

- The goods must be returned within 14 days of receipt of delivery. That is, be submitted to a post office

- The return slip that came with the package must be properly filled out

- Bikinis and bathing suits and accessories such as necklaces and earrings are not approved for hygienic reasons.

- The right of return does not apply to made-to-measure goods or goods that are sewn up completely according to your wishes

- The Born In Stockholm tag must remain in place for an approved return

- The goods are unused and in original condition

- No makeup marks.

- No perfume scent or smell of sweat. If there is a strong smell, the return is NOT accepted. Please try on the clothes with good hygiene.

How do I make a return?

- Wrap the product carefully in suitable packaging. Make sure it is in original condition and all tags sealed on the item. Put in the return slip that was included in the package, completed in the package. Returns without a completed return slip Not approved.

- When we have received your item, we will make a return to you as soon as possible. Refunds are always made within 14 days from the day we have received the package.

- We always send you an email when the return has been made. Please note that it may take 5-10 working days before you see the money in your account or if you are outside Europe (before you receive your credit receipt by email)

-  We recommend sending with trackable mail so you can follow the package.

- IMPORTANT! If you are returning from outside the EU, it is important that you mark the package as a "return" when you send. This is a must for the package to arrive properly. If the package is not marked as a return when you send it, we will not be able to receive your package.

Have you received my return? How long does the process take?

Please note that it can take 1-4 weeks for your return to be registered with us from the time we receive your return. You will receive an email as soon as your return has been processed.

If you have not heard from us within 14 days of your return reaching us please contact us via chat and we will help you quickly there. Be sure to include your order number and full details of your returned goods. 

- Always save your delivery receipt with tracking number and track the package yourself before contacting us to see the status of your package

- When we have processed your return, you will receive a return confirmation via email. Please allow 5-10 days for the funds to enter your account after receiving the return confirmation.

Can I exchange a product?

Yes!

Fill in the enclosed return slip in the package and write what you wish to exchange for. If you wish to exchange for a more expensive item, please return the item and place a new order. Write a comment on your new order that it is an exchange and we will reimburse you for the shipping afterwards.

When will I receive my refund?

Save the delivery receipt that you received when you sent the return so that you can keep track of whether the return has reached us.

Customs duties

Customs duties are not added to returns in Sweden or within the EU.

Born In Stockholm is not responsible for any costs for customs when a customer returns from a country outside the EU. It is important that you mark your package as "returned" when returning the package. If you are unsure how to return your item from outside the EU, please contact us at order@borninstockholm.se before sending the return) or ask for help from the carrier.

- If we receive a return with a customs fee, you will be charged this fee, which will be deducted from your refund amount.

- For all non-EU countries, a return cost of SEK 250 is charged when we receive your return. An administrative cost charged by the shipping company to process a return package outside the EU. This cost is not borne by Born In Stockholm.
