Return Policy

Sweden and Europe (Within EU)

- You always have a 14-day return policy with us when you shop.

- Items must be returned within 14 days after receiving the delivery, which means deposited at a post office.

- Bikinis, swimsuits, and accessories such as necklaces and earrings are not eligible for return due to hygiene reasons.

- No refunds on sale items.

- The return policy does not apply to custom-made items or items tailored entirely to your preferences.

- The Born In Stockholm tag must remain attached for an approved return.

- Items needs to be unused, in original condition and all tags still attached.

- No makeup marks.

- No perfume scent or smell of sweat. Returns will NOT be accepted if there is a strong odor. Please try on the clothes with good hygiene.

- For Europe, countries within the EU are covered by these terms, while different rules apply for countries outside the EU.

USA and rest of the world:

- For countries outside the EU, we offer a 14-day exchange policy or store credit for approved returns.

- Items must be returned within 14 days after receiving the delivery, i.e., deposited at a post office.

- The return slip included in the package must be properly filled out.

- Bikinis, swimsuits, and accessories such as necklaces and earrings are not eligible for return due to hygiene reasons.

- The return policy does not apply to custom-made items or items tailored entirely to your preferences.

- The Born In Stockholm tag must remain attached for an approved return.

How do I make a return?

Pack the item(s) carefully in a suitable packaging, ensuring it remains in its original condition with all tags sealed.

Include the return slip provided in the package, filled out correctly. Returns without a completed return slip will not be accepted.

Once we receive your item, we will process the return as soon as possible. Refunds are always issued within 14 days from the day we receive the package.

We will send you an email confirmation once the return is processed. Please note that it may take 5-10 business days before you see the refund in your account, or if you are outside Europe, before you receive your store credit via email.

- We recommend using a tracked shipping method so you can monitor the package.

- IMPORTANT! If you are returning from outside the EU, it's essential to fill out a custom declaration for your return. The post office will help you with this. It is also essential to label the package as a "return" when sending it. This is necessary for the package to be delivered correctly. If the package is not labeled as a return when sent, we will not be able to accept it.

Have you received my return?

Please note that it may take 1-4 weeks for your return to be registered with us from the time we receive it. You will receive an email as soon as your return is processed.

- If you haven't heard from us within 14 days after your return reached us, please contact us via the chat, and we will assist you promptly. Make sure to provide your order number and all details about your returned items.

- Always keep your submission receipt with the tracking number and track the package yourself before contacting us to check the status of your package.

- Once we have processed your return, you will receive a return confirmation via email. Please allow 5-10 days for the funds to be credited to your account after receiving the return confirmation.

Can I exchange my item?

Yes!

Fill out the enclosed return form in the package and indicate what you wish to exchange for. If you wish to exchange for a more expensive item, please return the item and place a new order. Include a comment on your new order indicating that it is an exchange, and we will refund you for the shipping afterward.

When will I receive my refund?

Save the receipt you received when you sent the return so you can keep track of whether the return has reached us.

Customs duties?

Customs duties are not applicable on returns within Sweden or within the EU. Born In Stockholm is not responsible for any customs costs when a customer returns from a country outside the EU.

It's important that you label your package as a "return" when sending it back. If you're unsure about how to return your item from outside the EU, please contact us at order@borninstockholm.se before sending the return or seek assistance from the carrier. Or read about all the rules on your governments website.

- If we receive a return with a customs fee, you will be charged this fee, which will be deducted from your refund amount.

- For all countries outside the EU, a return fee of 250 SEK will be charged when we receive your return. This is an administrative fee charged by the shipping carrier for processing a return package outside the EU. Born In Stockholm is not responsible for this cost.
