Terms of purchase

Where is my order?

When we have packed your order and it is ready for delivery, you will receive an order confirmation to the email you entered when you purchased. You can track your delivery via the link included in the delivery confirmation. Our orders are sent with Postnord or DHL depending on which option you have chosen.

Orders within Sweden normally take 2-5 working days.
Orders within Europe normally take 3-9 working days depending on which country you ordered from.
Orders to the rest of the world normally take 7-14 working days depending on which country you ordered from.

An administrative fee of SEK 450 is added to unclaimed packages. An undelivered package also means an unbroken package that is directly sent back from the post office.

Backorder can be between 1-4 weeks delivery time depending on the item. A back order cannot be canceled before the item is delivered as the item is sewn specifically for your order. If you want to change the size of an order that has already been placed on backorder, you as a customer must notify us as quickly as possible via email or our chat.t.

Where is my delivery confirmation?

When the order is ready for delivery, a delivery confirmation will be sent to the email address you specified when you purchased.

If you have not received a delivery confirmation, please check your Junk Mail or Spam folder as the email may have ended up there. Otherwise, you are welcome to contact us at order@borninstockholm.se

Can I change/cancel my order?

If you want to change your order, you must quickly contact us and let us know so we can see what we can do for your specific order. If your order has already been processed or a notification of a back order has started, we cannot make any changes or cancel your order. But chat with us about your wish and we'll make sure to try to help!

How often do you replenish with goods and sizes?

Some of our items and sizes are limited. Make sure to order your favorites quickly, there's nothing you regret as much as the things you didn't buy, right?? 

Many of our goods are sewn to order and therefore have a long delivery time. We make sure to have all sizes ready to order most of the time. We have a maximum delivery time of 4 weeks.

Can I use two codes at the same time?

Our discount codes cannot be combined with other discount codes.

Ordering
When ordering, you agree to the prices stated and displayed on the page. All prices are stated in Swedish kronor and include 25% VAT. Payment and shipping charges are not included in the prices and will be specified during your purchase. In order to order from us, you must be 18 years old. According to Swedish law, Born In Stockholm does not accept credit purchases under the age of 18. Born In Stockholm reserves the right in specific cases to refuse or change your order (for example if you have provided false personal data and/or have payment complaints). Born In Stockholm reserves the right for final sales and any image and writing errors on the page, for example errors in the product description or technical specification, incorrect prices and price adjustments (such as changed prices from suppliers or currency changes) or incorrect information regarding whether an item is in stock. Born In Stockholm has the right to correct any such errors and to change or update the information at any time. If an incorrect price has been entered for an item that you have ordered, Born In Stockholm will of course notify you of this and wait for your approval of the corrected price before Born In Stockholm continues with the order. All image information on the page should be viewed exclusively as illustrations. Such illustrations cannot be guaranteed to represent the number of items You will receive or the item's exact appearance, features or origin. Born In Stockholm is not responsible for information on the page that comes from a third party.

Cancellation
A cancellation is not possible after your order has been processed and dispatched. In cases where the order has been completed, you as a customer must receive the order. If you do not receive your order, we have the right to charge you a fee of SEK 450.

Order confirmation

Once we have received your order, we will send you a confirmation to your email address. It is therefore important that you enter your correct e-mail address when placing your order and also be careful about typos when filling in your personal information. Save your order confirmation to facilitate possible contact with customer service. Your order confirmation is also valid as a warranty certificate. If you have not received this email within 3 working days, please contact our customer service. Please note that your order confirmation may end up in the spam folder. Orders placed on backorder have a delivery time of 1-4 weeks and cannot be canceled during this time.

Delivery and Transport
Estimated delivery time for items in stock is 2-5 working days. For goods that are not in stock, we have a delivery time of 1-4 weeks. If you would like a more precise delivery date for your specific order, please email us. During high season and at high load, delays can occur. You will automatically receive a confirmation of your delivery from us *info@borninstockholm.se* as soon as your package leaves our warehouse. Packages are normally delivered to the nearest delivery point which must be redeemed within the time specified on the notification. Notification can take place via e-mail, regular mail and, if you have entered a phone number, also via SMS. If you do not pick up the package, we have the right to charge you a fee of SEK 450

AGREEMENT AND ORDER
In order to make a purchase via the Site, you must accept the Terms and Conditions. By accepting the Terms and Conditions, you undertake to follow the Terms and Conditions in their entirety, as well as agree that you have read the information about personal data and consented to the use of personal data according to Born In Stockholm's Privacy Policy.

Complaint
The right of complaint covers goods that are faulty. If you discover a fault with an item, you as a customer must contact our customer service as soon as you discover the fault. Complaints made within two months from the time you discovered the error are always considered to have been submitted in time. We reserve the right to refuse a complaint if it turns out that the product has no original fault or is faulty. We are responsible for the return shipping for approved complaints. Security: Orders placed in another person's name without their consent are considered fraud. All suspected fraud is reported to the police. When you shop with us, we protect your data using encryption. We use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), which is a security protocol for the secure transmission of data via the Internet (or other networks). The SSL protocol means that all information sent between the buyer and the seller is encrypted.

Personal data
When you shop at Born In Stockholm, your personal data is registered in our system. When you order from us, you accept our agreement for this. Born In Stockholm processes all personal information in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Act, PUL. The information you submit to us is used confidentially, nothing is passed on to third parties. They are only used for the purpose of completing your order and otherwise to be able to provide you with the best possible service. You have the right to request access to your data. If there is something that is not right, you can have it changed or removed.

Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control such as, for example, general labor disputes, war, fire, lightning, terrorist attack, changed government regulation, technical problems or faults in electricity/telecommunications/data connections.

Are customs fees added?

Europe (Countries within the EU):

The packages are sent locally within Europe, which means that no customs fees are added. VAT is calculated and included in the checkout for EU countries, which means that there are no additional charges upon arrival.

The exception to this is Greece - customers in Greece will have to pay customs charges on arrival.

US and International:

Duties and/or VAT apply to countries outside the EU. Customs duties are determined by the country of destination and are the responsibility of the customer. Borninstockholm is responsible not for any customs fees or local taxes due to international shipping. Please familiarize yourself with the regulations in your country as payment of these fees may be necessary to release your order.

We would like to remind you that this also applies to customers from UK . Please read about these rules on UK's website. Many customers miss this as it is new to you.

Can I order to a different address than the specified invoice address?

Yes! You can enter an alternative delivery address that differs from the address specified for the invoice.

An item is missing from my order - help plz!

Goods ordered on backorder have a longer delivery time than goods in stock. If you have ordered on backorder, the product's delivery time is 1-4 weeks. If an item is missing, you must have been informed of this on your order confirmation that was included in the package. If you have not received any information, contact us on our chat and we will help youdig 🙂

I have received the wrong product - what should I do?

We are terribly sorry that something went wrong.

Please return the item to us to exchange it for the correct one (provided the correct item is still available). If the item is no longer in stock, we will issue a full refund for the item to you. Contact us on chat for help

My item is taking longer than expected - what do I do?

Sometimes there can be delays that are beyond Borninstockholm's control and for which we are not responsible. If you have a delayed package, please contact the shipping company first with your tracking number as they will have the latest information. After this, customer service can help you with questions.

My package is gone - what do I do now?

We encourage you to contact the carrier responsible for the delivery as soon as possible and provide your tracking number as they will have the most up-to-date information about the package. It is rare for parcels to get lost but they are often delayed so please be patient. We would like to note that packages to Canada and Australia and New Zealand often takes an extra long time with standard shipping. If you still need help, please contact our customer service.

Package not collected - what happens now?

In the event that a package is not claimed or rejected by the recipient for any reason - the carrier will return this package to Borninstockholm. Consequently, a fee of 600 sek (60 USD) will be deducted from your order total to cover the return shipping due to your refusal. This is non-negotiable. In addition, any package returned to sender due to an incorrect address when ordering will incur a fee of 600 sek ($60 USD)
