Ordering
By placing an order, you agree to the prices listed on the website. All prices are in Swedish kronor (SEK) (or in your local currency) and include 25% VAT. Payment and shipping fees are not included in the product prices and will be shown during checkout. Shipping within Sweden is free.
To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old. According to Swedish law, Born In Stockholm does not permit credit purchases for individuals under 18. We reserve the right to reject or modify any order in specific cases (for example, if false information is provided or if there are payment issues).
We also reserve the right for products to sell out and for potential errors in images or text on the site, such as inaccuracies in product descriptions, pricing errors, or incorrect stock availability. Prices may also be adjusted due to supplier changes or currency fluctuations.
If a product has been listed at an incorrect price and you have already placed an order, we will inform you of the correct price and request your approval before continuing with the order.
All images on the website are for illustrative purposes only. These may not exactly reflect the product's appearance, features, quantity, or origin. Born In Stockholm is not responsible for third-party information displayed on the site.
Cancellations
Once your order has been placed and processed, cancellation is no longer possible. If you do not accept the delivery, we reserve the right to charge a fee of 650 SEK.
Order Confirmation
When we receive your order, a confirmation will be sent to your email address. Please ensure that your email is correct and free of typos when placing your order. Keep your order confirmation, as it serves as proof of purchase and warranty. If you haven’t received it within 3 business days, please contact our customer service. (Check your spam folder as well.)
Orders placed on backorder may have a delivery time of 1–4 weeks and cannot be canceled during this period.
Shipping & Delivery
Estimated delivery time for in-stock items is 2–5 business days. For backordered items, delivery is estimated at 1–4 weeks. For a more accurate estimate, feel free to email us.
During high-demand periods, delays may occur. You will automatically receive a shipping confirmation from order@borninstockholm.se once your order leaves our warehouse.
Packages are usually delivered to your nearest collection point and must be picked up within the time specified in the notification. Notifications may be sent via email, postal mail, or SMS if a phone number is provided.
If you do not collect your package, we reserve the right to charge a fee of 650 SEK.
Agreement & Order Terms
To make a purchase on our website, you must accept our Terms & Conditions. By doing so, you agree to be bound by them and acknowledge that you have read and accepted our Privacy Policy.
Claims & Complaints
The right to make a claim applies to products that are faulty or incorrect. If you discover an issue with your item, please contact our customer service as soon as possible. Claims made within two months of discovering the issue are always considered timely.
We reserve the right to reject claims if the product is not found to be defective. Return shipping is covered for approved claims only.
Security
Placing an order under another person’s name without their consent is considered fraud and will be reported to the police.
We protect your data with encryption technology, using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) for secure data transmission over the internet.
Personal Data
When you shop at Born In Stockholm, your personal data is registered in our system. By placing an order, you agree to our data processing policy.
We handle your information in accordance with the Swedish Data Protection Act (PUL) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). Your data is treated confidentially and is never shared with third parties. It is only used to complete your order and provide customer service.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as labor disputes, war, fire, lightning, terrorist attacks, government regulations, technical issues, or disruptions in electricity, telecom, or data services.
